Donations New Hope Bargain Shoppe Donation Information

All of the quality items you will find at New Hope Bargain Shoppes are generously donated by people from the community. It's a perfect opportunity to clean out those closets and give your contribution to benefit adults with disabilities. If you wish to make a donation of clothing or other used items you may take these items to any of our four locations.

Valuation Guide for New Hope Bargain Shoppe Donors

When completing your donation we will be glad to give you a tax receipt. Most of our clothing will be “unit priced” which means that like items will be priced the same. Most of our adult clothing is priced at $2 with the exception of t-shirts which are $1, coats and suits which are $3- $20, shoes which will vary by brand and could be sold $1 - $10 and the exceptionally nice items which we will price at a higher value. You will find that most children’s items are priced at $1. Using these amounts and counting the items you donate will give you a fair approximate amount to use on your receipt. Remember, these are only an estimate of the value. The IRS asks that you value your items at a fair market price; what you can expect to receive if you sell it as a used item to another individual.

Donation Times

Items may be donated during all of the stores’ working hours. A tax receipt is available to all persons who donate items.

Become our FAN on FACEBOOK!

Our Facebook page features impomptu sales at each of our four locations based on their inventory. So if one store has too much of one specific item, they may feature a deeply discounted sale over a day or a week. Sales are announced on the New Hope Bargain Shoppe Facebook page. We also feature some of the creative items that our customers have made from items that were "repurposed". We love what they've been able to make!

In addition, the Carroll store location features Silent Auction items on the Facebook page which includes a photo of the items along with a bidding deadline date. But you still have to stop at the Carroll store to place your bid or to see where the bidding currently is set.
