Client Support Staff

CURRENTLY OFFERING A $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR NEW HIRES IN FULL OR PART-TIME CLIENT SUPPORT POSITIONS IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER, 2020!

Client Support Staff (CSS) provide assistance to adults with disabilities in either a campus or community-based setting. CSS provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, community outings, leisure activities, meals, laundry, and cleaning. CSS are also responsible for data collection and documentation. In addition, CSS in our community homes administer medications. No prior experience is required; we provide paid classroom instruction and on the job training with an assigned mentor to help assure a successful career with New Hope.

Scheduling Options:

New Hope offers many scheduling options to help meet the needs of persons served and employees. In our community homes we offer longer shifts but fewer days which work well for commuters. Our community homes are located in Carroll and Glidden. Our campus homes are located in Carroll and offer more traditional shifts for those looking for a more traditional schedule.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations
  • Campus home staff must be 16 years of age or older
  • Community home staff must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and be insurable under our agency's auto insurance, and also the ability to successfully complete the Medication Manager course after hire

Client Support Staff positions are available in Full Time, Part Time, Weekend Package (time and a half pay) and Flex Positions.

Weekend Differential - $2 per hour additional

Client Support Staff - Seasonal Flex

We are hiring flex client support staff that will require individuals to work 30 hours per month for October, November and December.    24 of those hours would be on the weekends.

Communications and Retail Operations Assistant

New Hope is looking for an energetic, creative and detail-orientated individual to help tell the New Hope story, while supporting the organization's Development Department!

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

If you have an interest in communications, marketing or retail, this position may just be for you!  The Communications and Retail Operations Assistant works within the Development Department and assists with New Hope communications, newsletters and events.  This position will also assist with social media efforts for New Hope and the Bargain Shoppes, website updates and photography.  Experience in writing, creating professional communications and multi-tasking are essential.

Will work closely with New Hope's four Bargain Shoppes, maintaining records and reports, assisting with supply orders and providing administrative support for the Bargain Shoppe managers.

This position requires advanced computer skills and a fluency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.  Working knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro preferred but not necessary.  Experience with Square for Retail also ideal.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have good organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently, exercise good judgment in making decisions, be a team player and enjoy working with the public.  Lastly, all candidates for a New Hope position should be supportive of the organization's mission to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Program Coordinator - QIDP

Coordinate the service, design and support to approximately 12 individuals with ID/DD.  The QIDP is responsible for the coordination of each client's total plan, within assigned caseloads, acts as the client's advocate, and as liaison for the facility and client with the family and external funding agencies.  This person must possess strong organization and communication skills and have a strong sense of self-direction.  Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in human services field or be an RN and have at least 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities.

RN position - 40 hours per week - working 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. OFF WEEKENDS (shift for the week ends 6 a.m. Fridays and begins a new week Sundays at 10 p.m.)      

RN position - 40 hours per week - working 2-10 p.m. and includes every 3rd weekend.

RN - part-time position as a weekend package.   Work 2 out of 3 weekends at the rate of $35.45/hour base

Shift differentials - Add $1.50 for evening and overnights

RN license required.   No clinical experience needed, will provide training and have on-call assistance available for questions while working.
