It's been said that, "To feel valued, to know that you can do a job well, is an absolutely marvelous feeling." Providing the opportunity to help people learn the skills needed to work and earn money gives that same feeling of satisfaction.
Becoming a part of the business world does so much for a person's self esteem. Earning money while making a real contribution to the community tops it all off and tells each person that he or she is valued.
New Hope believes that all persons with disabilities should have the opportunity for meaningful employment.
The function of Employment Resources is to find and support community employment for individuals served by New Hope, and for persons referred by Vocational Rehabilitation, schools or other referring agencies. Employment Resources also provides community vocational evaluation of individuals.
