Individuals have the opportunity to receive training in cognitive skills, social communication, independent living, leisure planning, and problem solving.  They also have opportunities to explore the community under the following programs:

Alternative Training Program  People in this program receive individualized training in basic skills.  The purpose of the program is to help individuals become involved in the life of their community.  Various activities support clients in making their own choices, engaging in inter-personal relationships, and participating in relaxation and leisure activities.

Golden Opportunities Clients receive help in their retirement transition.  Individuals are encouraged to plan and participate in various retirement activities, including trips in and outside the local community. Individuals volunteer with community events, and they participate in various activities: music, horticulture, pet therapy, shopping, and picnics.

Expanding Horizons – The purpose of this program is to help retrain living skills for individuals with brain injury, or for persons to improve their cognitive skills. Individuals are taught the steps that will carry over into jobs and to help each become as independent as possible.

Education Program - People benefit from evening classes & instruction in work services and basic education, social skills training, human awareness, time & money management.  Individuals gain the needed skills to travel, and enjoy greater independence in making decisions about their earned income and social activities.  The program offers individuals support to deal with life issues such as sexuality, death, retirement, job placement, and other life events.

Sensory Integration - Clients may utilize Snoezelen Room, offering multi-sensory experience that combines sound, smell, lighting, vibration, & touch for the enjoyment of those that use the room. The effect of the room is both relaxing and stimulating. The goal of the program is to enable individuals to become more tolerant of and interactive in their environment.
