New Hope
Village believes that all persons
with disabilities should have the opportunity for meaningful
employment. Vocational services provide
individuals with job training, adaptive equipment, and ongoing support to
help them maintain employment. Individuals learn basic work habits and
earn money while making a real contribution to their
community. Opportunities for employment are available to individuals
with employers in the community as well as at our organizational facilities.
In addition to teaching job skills, staff members
provide training in cognitive, social, communication, orientation,
independent leisure, problem solving, senior health and fitness, and
relaxation skills along with opportunities for community exploration. This
training is part of CARF accredited services
of Personal and Social Services.
